On Paratopia, Richard is joined by two crop researchers who figured heavily in the film, Robert Hulse and David Cayton. The round table takes us deep into the crop circle mystery and, as you’d expect from us by now, deep into other areas of ufology and personal experience as well.
Apparently the intelligence behind the phenomenon is in competition with itself to see if it can “out-weird” itself on our show. During our first crop circle episode with Colin Andrews, we all felt that high strangeness vibe and Colin’s bank of computers shut down one by one, perhaps in conjunction with the topic being discussed. In this, our second crop circle episode, we capture an obvious EVP during a discussion about Robert’s video of what he believes is a camouflaged alien. Though the voice is cut out of the episode because it’s too jarring, we insert it at the end and loop it a few times for you to hear. Who is it? What is he trying to say?
Very strange. It must be a crop circle thing. We should just keep doing these crop-themed shows until an alien appears and has a sit-down chat with us.

Colin Andrews is best known for his research into the crop circle subject since 1983. He provides the only continuity between the past research era and the present, along with his friend and colleague, Busty Taylor. His long view of both the genuine phenomenon and the human-made phenomenon provides unique insight into the subject. His research results indicate the intelligence behind the phenomenon is interacting with both crop circle researchers and many of the people who make the hoaxes.
He has publicly stated since the late 1980’s that the phenomenon indicates a future period of human chaos. The period indicated, supported by current trends, can be changed with human awareness and he believes there are serious eco-political implications and that the future direction of the planet is at the center of the phenomenon.
He and his longtime friend and research partner Pat Delgado authored Circular Evidence, considered by many to be the definitive work on the crop circle phenomenon. He is also the author of Government Circles which details and proves beyond question the Government and Royal Family’s interest and communication with the original crop circles researchers with never before released documents - and sets the record straight. Colin and his wife Dr. Synthia Andrews, have also penned The Complete Idiot’s Guide to 2012 which details the 2012 issue across various cultures.
The man who coined the term “crop circle,” Colin Andrews, joins us tonight for an in-depth interview that seems to have a life of its own. Some of what that means happens during the show, and we take a time out to discuss it. Some of it continues to unfold privately as we post the episode.

1.) This interview has triggered something in all three of us.
2.) If you are like many and have completely disregarded crop circles as nothing more than hoaxes, you will change your mind after this interview.

The man needs no introduction, but here it is anyway…
Kevin Randle has been a professional writer for nearly 30 years with published works that include science fiction, action-adventure, techno-thrillers, and over 20 books of non-fiction. Randle has a varied military background and was decorated in two wars. Given his military background and over 27 years of service, he is considered an expert on military matters and has been called upon by various media agencies for that expertise.
He has worked in private industry as a presentations writer for Rockwell International and he hosted a radio program on El Paso’s KTSM which explored the paranormal. He has studied Anthropology at the University of Iowa, psychology at California Coast University and History with an emphasis on Intelligence at the American Military University. He holds four degrees including a Ph.D. in psychology and a Master of the Art of Military Studies.

You guys asked for it and Paratopia delivers: The Gulf Breeze Episode. This week, our very special guest Dr. Bruce Maccabee join Jeremy and Jeff for a deep discussion of the Gulf Breeze UFO flap(s).
Bruce spent his early year in Rutland, Vt. After high school he studied physics at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Mass (B.S. in physics) and then at The American University, Washington, DC (M.S. and Ph. D. in physics). In 1972 commenced his long career at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, presently headquartered at Dahlgren, Virginia. He has worked on optical data processing, generation of underwater sound with lasers and various aspects of the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI) and Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) using high power lasers. Bruce Maccabee has been active in UFO research since late 1960s when he joined the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena (NICAP) and was active in research and investigation for NICAP until its demise in 1980. He became a member of MUFON in 1975 and was subequently appointed to the position of state Director for Maryland, a position he still holds. In 1979 he was instrumental in establishing the Fund for UFO Research and was the chairman for the about 13 years. He presently serves on the National Board of the Fund.
His UFO research and investigations (which are completely unrelated to his Navy work) have included the Kenneth Arnold sighting (Jun 24, 1947), the McMinnville, Oregon (Trent) photos of 1950, the Gemini 11 astronaut photos of September, 1966, the New Zealand sightings of December, 1978, the Japan Airlines (JAL1628) sighting of November 1986, the numerous sightings of Ed Walters and others in Gulf Breeze, Florida, 1987 - 1988, the “red bubba” sightings,1990-1992 (including his own sighting in September, 1991), the Mexico City video of August, 1997, the Phoenix lights sightings of March 13, 1997 at 10 PM, the Mexican Air Force case of March, 2004, the Iran Jet Case of Sept. 1976 and many others. He has also done historical research and was the first to obtain the “flying disc file” of the FBI (the REAL X-Files!).
Dr. Maccabee is the author or coauthor of about three dozen technical articles and more than a hundred UFO articles over the last 25 years, including many which appeared in the MUFON Journal and MUFON Symposium proceedings. He wrote the last chapter of “The Gulf Breeze Sightings” by Edward and Frances Walters (Morrow, 1990). He wrote the UFO history chapter of the book “UFOs: Zeugen und Zeichen,” published in Germany in 1995. He is co-author with Edward Walters of “UFOs Are Real, Here’s The Proof,” (Avon Books, 1997), he is the author of “The UFO/FBI Connection” (Llewellyn Books, May, 2000) and he is the author of novel, “Abduction in My Life,” (November, 2000). He is listed in Who’s Who in Technology Today and American Men and Women of Science an he has appeared on numerous radio and TV shows and documentaries.
Bruce is an accomplished pianist and organist who performed at the 1997 and 1999 MUFON symposia.
